Little moments ~ Big feelings
I'm Kiri! I'm the photographer and owner of Kiri Shay Photography. I'm a Sydney based wedding and lifestyle photographer who loves nothing more than to capture the big moments, little moments, the soft loving moments, the quirky, embarrassing, weird moments and the everything in-between moments.
Anything and everything from maternity, birth & newborns, to engagements, weddings & elopements. I am lucky enough to absolutely love what I do, and I aim to create honest, authentic and emotion-filled images ~ something tangible for you to carry with you throughout the years.

Amanda & Harry's Taronga Zoo wedding
We couldn't fault Kiri - everything about Kiri Shay Photography service was professional. The way she captured our wedding was like a dream, she exceeded every possible expectation and we can't thank her enough. She went over and beyond to capture our special moments, and recommending her to other clients just doesn't seem an adequate enough thank you! You won't regret hiring Kiri to capture your special moments xx
Tina & Phillipa's mother daughter session
Kiri is a wonderful photographer! My daughter and me instantly liked her lots and the mini photo session was great fun. Kiri has a special way with people; allowing them their space and making them feel special and gorgeous. Her pictures reflect a wonderful atmosphere and show the "real" you in a most beautiful way! We loved her photos.
Caitlin & Simon's Crams Farm wedding
"Kiri recently photographed our wedding day, and she did an absolutely perfect job. The whole process was amazing from start to finish, and the photos we received were more beautiful than I could of imagined. Leading up to the wedding Kiri was extremely helpful, offering help and suggestions where she could, and on the day she was nothing short of amazing. You can genuinely feel Kiri’s love for her work, and she made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the day, while capturing all our special moments perfectly. The photos we received are so natural and beautiful, providing us with memories for a lifetime. Thank you again for capturing our special day Kiri, we couldn’t be happier with the result!"
Ellena & Matt's Byron Bay sunrise sessions
"I'll admit, I was feeling pretty nervous about the idea of someone taking photos of me, but Kiri's reassurance and easy going nature made it all so relaxed and fun! The whole process was so enjoyable and the photos she took are something I'll cherish for a lifetime. When you look at them you can just feel the love. Thank you so much, these photos are now my favourite thing in the universe!"
Madi and Walter's Vancouver Island anniversary
"Kiri's lovely calm presence allowed myself and my partner to feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the session! She allowed for us to flow and do what felt natural, but also had great ideas for shots. Neither of us had ever done a couples shoot before and we felt very awkward at first, but Kiri helped us get lost in the moment together and have a great experience. Every photo was beautifully taken and captured the moment perfectly! We loved every second of the shoot and would recommend Kiri to anyone!"
Kym & Jenny's Thailand wedding
"Kiri took our wedding photos in Thailand.
I absolutely admire her patience and love for taking photos.
She is so passionate and always finds ways, to make the object or person she is taking photos of, look their best.
Kiri is super creative and loves focusing on the small detail.
Especially capturing the magic in situations and special moments makes her photos shine and transmit this magical sparkle.
Thank you for your amazing work!"
